About Me.

Therapy is more than working through life's challenges. It's about understanding yourself, recognizing your strengths, healing from past experiences, and discovering new ways to move forward.

With over 25 years of experience in social work, I've learned that healing isn't always linear, life can be messy, and sometimes laughter is just as important as tears. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that everyone deserves a space where they can show up exactly as they are.

I specialize in trauma, relationships, human sexuality, and the many challenges that come with being human. I believe in looking beyond symptoms to understand experiences, emotions, and patterns that shape how we see ourselves and interact with the world.

And because I'm a real person outside the therapy office....

I'm a Harry Potter enthusiast, lover of organization, amateur gardener, and someone who occasionally brings a little Jack Black energy into a world of professional clinicians. I'm a big believer in embracing all our different parts (yes, like Inside Out), finding humor in life's absurdities, and remembering that none of us has it all figured out.

When I'm not working,  you'll find me sitting on the couch next to my husband watching Ted Lasso, wrangling our dogs, supporting my kids and their families, and trying my best to be my best.

My philosophy is simple: "It's safe to be me!" and "There are a lot of ways to get life right!"
